Added the TV to my cart and then backed up to look at other units. Pop up presented something like "Before you leave your cart, here's a 3% code". Applied successfully bringing the pretax amount down to $785.69 which is slick enough for me.

LG's B5 OLED stands out as a strong value 4K TV, with buyers calling the picture excellent and the price hard to beat for an OLED. The deal can improve further through Partner Store access, with a cart pop up code that worked for 3 percent off and text sign up offers that may reach 10 percent. The main caution is that some discount codes exclude TVs, and there were reports of a month long backorder and slow order processing. A solid pick if you want OLED performance without paying C5 money.

  • A cart pop-up offered a 3% code that applied successfully and lowered the pretax total to $785.69.

  • The TV purchase reportedly involved a month-long backorder and customer-support delays before order processing.

    Squanto99

  • Partner Store access reportedly can be unlocked through work email, employer discount programs, bank discount programs, education emails, or a Hulu trial.

    SlicknSilent

  • An LG E8 reportedly continued running after 10,000+ hours, with OLED picture quality described as flawless beyond a few inches.

  • Discount codes reportedly exclude TVs, which can prevent additional savings from applying to this model.

    bsa07eagle

  • Text-update signups reportedly offer a 10% code, but the code availability depends on receiving the text message.

    ARVI21

  • LG TV longevity reportedly raised concerns, since two LG TVs reportedly failed just past the five-year mark.

    AV3905

  • Visible pixel burn-in reportedly can appear up close on OLED models, even when the image looks flawless from normal viewing distance.

I have an LG Plasma from 2013 that I can't kill. No burn in, ghosting, etc. Slightly dimmer than when I first bought it but overall still a really good TV for most activities. I beg it each day to die so I can get a 4K TV but it refuses to go.

You need to work for a specific company to log into this site?

How much is the c5?
Try your work email to create an account on the partner store to see if you qualify. If not, there are multiple perks websites that have LG partner store included. You may have access to one of these sites through your employer (work email) , your bank (through discount programs), payroll websites, education (.edu) email, etc. Also, if you have Hulu subscription (trial qualifies), you can get access to the partner store. Regardless of how you qualify to the Partner store, you need to CREATE an account to use the Lg Partner Store (LG.com account does not work on Partner Store). Good luck

Haha, swap in Panasonic Plasma for me. Still love the picture but realize OLED 4K is better. That Plasma is a heater and horribly inefficient.

Finally broke down last weekend and bought the LG B5 48" for $599 at Bestbuy. (Custom cabinets by me to fit the Panasonic won't accept anything larger)
Looking back, I paid $900 for that Panasonic at Costco in about 2009. Inflating to today would be almost $1,400 in today's $, so $600 feels like a deal.

'Not crying about 17 years of wonderful use, but now gotta figure out how to set it up in the garage!
