do not buy base avatar. it has been $10 and the one with the expansion was $30 (wait for a better sale). Definitely don't get Sparkling Zero for $35 when it has been $20 on woot for a while. AC Shadows was $12 at BJs and same for StarWars Outlaws. AC mirage was $10 too. if you have PS+ you can play most/all of these

Anyone have an opinion on mafia old country? It's one of the more expensive games on this list. Last month I did get a hour demo I wouldn't mind playing it some more. 40$ to me seems kinda steep for a game that's been out a little while now and I suspect will be free on plus eventually. Anyone remember seeing it lower?

The games you are speaking about with the better prices, like at Woot for example is on disc, probably the 10 dollar Avatar, same with any games at B.J.s they are on disc. All these games that are on sale from PlayStation Network, (psn) are Digital. You might have wanted to share that information @social_gamer, hence the name. Like comparing apples to oranges here, lol.

comparing things you can resell vs things you're renting a digital license.I forgot there is a digital only ps5 that is tied to the psn store for sales or the $80 external disc drive

Lies Of P is awesome. Great deal for $30 but you'll end up wanting the DLC also.

Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 physical is also $30 at Amazon right now.

RDR has been this price several times and well worth the full price. It depends on what people are looking for...
These sales are good at least you beat the dynamic pricing that Sony is using lately!

Also seems OP forgot one of the best deals. Middle earth bundle for $7. Shadow of War and Mordor, very underrated games with some unique nemesis and recruiting systems. I had no idea game was so addictive.

Can't recommend RDR2 enough. Fantastic game... among a few other gems in the list above. Can't comment on anything PS since I left consoles a while ago and am happily 100% PC.

recommend to wait until it's $20 or less, completed the story mode in about 20 hours and didnt go back for the free roam. decent game that's heavily propped up by the linear storyline (admittedly part of the mafia games formula; at least for 1 and 2).
gameplay is fine but it's a lot of story/cutscenes followed by about 10-15 minutes of actual control over your player before the next bit of story. some stuttering during cutscenes. not much to explore in the map during story mode. there's a second mode called Free Ride that allows you to roam around some more for side quests like a GTA but dont remember if this needs to be unlocked after completing the story. graphics are good not great but i also went into this after completing Ghost of Yotei so prob biased.
