This tabletop propane griddle stands out for simple outdoor cooking on a seasoned steel surface that needs cast iron style care, with cleaning by scraping, wiping, drying, and re oiling to prevent rust. The H burner is the main draw, and the compact size makes it easier to lift and clean than larger griddles. The previous rectangular burner version was praised for cooking well, but the new layout is said to leave weaker flame coverage near the front. The base also drew complaints for thin metal and bent shipping damage, making durability a concern for travel use.
Camp cooks frying fish outdoors, because the seasoned steel plate can be cleaned with water and oil like cast iron after use.
The griddle plate is seasoned steel, so scrape it clean, wipe it with light soapy water or just water, rinse, and re-oil it. It should not be dishwasher-cleaned, and it needs to stay dry after cleaning to prevent rust.
Yes, it has an H burner, which is a key reason it looks like a decent value at the price. One caveat is that the burner layout may still leave some areas with less direct flame coverage, similar to the earlier rectangular-burner version.
It can work for camping, but the unit is fairly large and the base is thin metal that may arrive bent or damaged. That makes it less appealing for rough travel-trailer storage, especially if you only need a small griddle for a couple weekend trips.
I own the previous version with the rectangular burner. Like it a lot except the rectangular burner doesn't cover the whole griddle area, only 2/3rds of it, so the area closest to you is colder. They did that for the oil catch.
I was going to replace mine thinking this H-burner would have better flame coverage but it looks even worse - again for the oil catch.
Treat it like a cast iron pan...it's literally just steel...it will rust...you have to clean it and then coat it in oil to inhibit it from rusting. It needs to stay dry during storage. This is probably the biggest con of griddles...that and they are heavy which could be an issue if you are a smaller person. These little ones are nice though...smaller area to clean, lighter to lift.
Order cancelled by Walmart. Exactly what I expected from these clowns.
Last time I bought something from Walmart the courier dropped it at the wrong house...drove around the neighborhood to find it and once I found the house (based on the picture they sent me when it was delivered) I found the recipient had thrown it in the trash!
I got one delivered. The base material is just thin cheap metal that was all bent up. Could not assemble the griddle top due to damage. Even if not bent up, I doubt this thing could survive vary long bouncing around in a travel trailer storage compartment. It is actually pretty large also, bigger than needed for a couple weekend camping. Back it goes!!

The griddle can be cleaned like hibachi or cast iron by wiping with water and oiling instead of using a dishwasher cycle.
The griddle plate is seasoned steel that can be maintained by scraping clean, washing lightly, rinsing, and re-oiling.
The griddle includes an H burner that can make it feel decent for the price.
The griddle can be used for frying foods like fish after ordering one.
The griddle plate is just steel that can rust, so it requires oil coating and dry storage to prevent corrosion.
The base can arrive with thin metal bent or damaged, which can prevent assembly of the griddle top.
The H-burner design may provide weaker flame coverage than expected, leaving the front area colder for cooking.
