These are ridiculously good at holding heat, but it looks like this particular version has the coating on the interior. When I eventually replace mine, it'll be with one that has the full stainless interior. I've had mine for almost a decade and it's so banged up, and the exterior paint has started to wear, but it still works just as good as day one.

Nothing is better for holding temp. Lightweight. People says not durable but I've dropped mine many times and doing great.

I really like this. Its a stupid comment to make but it retains heat way too much for my liking. I have no to be careful not to burn my tongue each time i sip.

The 32oz is just $2 more. I've had one that size for a few years. A large food service squeeze bottle is the same diameter. I cut the squeeze bottle top off and it makes a great protective sleeve for the 32oz. This version has the fewest lid parts to clean too

Don't buy this version, it has the nonstick interior. Buy the SM-VH72 instead with SlickSteel polished stainless steel interior (PFAS-free & BPA-free) instead.

Yup. Burning myself at 3PM on morning coffee! I take my lid off my Zojis to drop temp and re-cap. Ice is a diff story, can keep ice water for days in a hot summer car.

Not sure why they added forever chemicals in the inside of these. If you put hot water it will release those chemicals into the water you are drinking.

Zojirushi makes great thermoses. The only 'problem' is you can't pour boiling water in them and expect it to be drinkable before the following morning.

This version doesn't have a removable lid stopper and the drink spout doesn't have a vent hole like most of their other ones do. That said, I like the simpler design and haven't had any issues with cleaning the lid. You aren't supposed to, but I run them through the dishwasher regularly without issue - other than the paint flaking off, so I have a collection of plain stainless steel now Smilie

Just in case you've read this far through the comments and don't believe it yet, this brand's thermoses hold the temperature (Hot OR Cold) RIDICULOUSLY Well. Like, legitimately better than you think they will. ;P
