My question would be, how would one of these compared to a brand new shark? I have a feeling one of these would be better

I purchased the animal 3 from Dyson ebay store on Black Friday for $160. Just checked and still looks available. (Mobile not allowing me to paste link. )To answer previous question, i didn't realize much dirt my old shark was not getting until i plugged this bad boy in. It literally raises the carpet. I am pleased with mine and hoping it helps those with allergies in my house.

We've had a Dyson Animal 2 since 2019 (paid $300). It's fantastic. We have 4 dogs and love it. One of our dogs chewed up the plug a bit, no biggie. In 2021 the wand part wouldn't go back in for some reason so we couldn't use it, under warranty Dyson paid for shipping to and from, fixed the wand, and replaced the cord which we didn't even say anything about. 10/10 experience so far with Dyson.

We own a Kirby we picked up off marketplace cheap for shiggles, but still prefer the Dyson.

I have a cordless shark, one of the ion flex, it's terrible. Battery lasts about 5 minutes and the dog fur gets stuff in the roller. I also have a shark ion robot vacuum and it's worse than my 10+ year old Roomba. So I am on the hunt to replace them both and done with Sharks

Ours was great while it lasted but about 1-2 years in, my long hair was its downfall.

Currently have Dyson 3, had Shark vacuum cleaners before. Dyson cleans way better than the Shark, however the Shark accessories are easier to use than Dyson.

Been using this vacuum for years, no real complaints. Great price for it.

I have had 2 shark vacuums, one hand vac, all three have lasted between 8 and 12 years.
