I bought this model back in 2015 for $115. After about three years, the light stopped working. I reached out to Philips and, while out of warranty, they ended up sending me a replacement model (a "one-time courtesy"). I've used that one almost daily since then and it's still working. Happy to answer any question about it! Aside from having to replace it once, I really like it.

True, but the sun doesn't get up early enough in the winter. That's when these are most useful. And that's also why it's on sale coming into the spring. Like buying a jacket in the off-season. Buy it before you need it to save a few bucks.
