I have this exact chair for 5 years now. Just starting to show some wear this year. Started being a little less comfortable about a year ago. It is a 3-4 year chair.

I have this chair. It is crap honestly. The bolts keep falling out no matter how you put them in. Doesn't feel safe to sit in it.

I used one for about three years, from 2020 to 2023. Less than a couple of years of use everyday for 8 to 10 hours the faux leather started flaking. The back support could also be better. When I threw it away after three years of use, it looked rough.

3-4 year chair is all that I need, though. My wife wants "something different" every couple of years anyway.

This looks hot and sweaty in the summer and and ice cold in the winter.

I'm in the market for a new office chair but this review on the Staples website killed the deal for me. Essentially there isn't any warranty as to how long the pleather lasts. You should at least get a year warranty. At this price point you could buy one from Sam's or Costco and have the ability to take it back. I've done that one time before and also got an immediate refund from my credit card extended warranty. The latter was because I try not to exploit the return policies too much lol...

This chair was comfortable but after less than a year the back and arms began to loosen. Tried tightening everything accessible but a couple of months later the back failed to support. In trying to repair it I found broken brackets and that bolts had fallen out of the interior assembly. I relied on the 5 year manufacturer warranty but was told it only covered the lift cylinder and that the chair falling apart was normal wear and tear. It's junk.

I've bought quite a few pieces of office furniture from staples over the years. Don't think I ever paid over 50-60 a chair no matter what the supposed list price is. And probably less. Stores pretty regularly have a clearance section too not listed online for just that store. Wait for a real sale, a coupon, something!

Yes, I've used a chair before. How can I help you?
