This must be such a pain to use with a bulky battery pack weighing down the end.

I bought this last year in August for $172. I guess $1 is not worth $1 anymore

A single refurbed battery is $66 extra on Amazon. LMAO. Just get one of the cheaper tools on there. $62 with two batteries.

I'm all in on Dewalt but my cordless ratchet is black and red. I just can't justify the cost of this, and don't like the bigger battery. An m12 fuel is $100 at Home Depot. Yes it has less torque, but the utility of these is spinning on/off nuts, not breaking them free

Don't forget these Dwalts have switchable heads.

...and the reviews show the inserts snap. Not sure if Dewalt has addressed that or not.

After collecting a boatload of DeWalt XR tools since 2019, this is the only one of all their tools I want that I don't have. Just can't justify the price for as little as I'd be using it. Once it hits $99-110, or around $130 with a battery, I'll bite. But for now this will remain my little unicorn.

They all snap even Milwaukee. Was Dewalt weaker?

The inserts snapping is a overblown issue, yes they do break but when taken well past the recommended torque just like any other brand, not only does removable inserts allow you to have multiple ratchet head sizes instead of buying multiple tools but if it does snap you can easily replace the insert for cheap instead of buying a whole new tool.

Was it $100? Showing $200 for the m12.

I guess it was a sale, but then again so is this, so still a fair comparison https://slickdeals.net/f/19325952-milwaukee-m12-fuel-12-volt-lithium-ion-brushless-cordless-high-speed-3-8-in-ratchet-tool-only-98-10

I use mine with the 1.7 powerstack andnits not a problem. I like that its slimmer than the Milwaukee.
