A few limitations to be aware of:

Total of 2 fan headers (1x CPU, 1x system).
Second M.2 slot limited to PCIe 3.0 x2.
No USB C on rear I/O; no USB 3.2 gen2 header.

Tempting, but I try to avoid motherboards that don't have built-in Wi-Fi.

Yea. But at 60 bucks, hard to pass on it. NAS/media box is going to be hard lined anyways, and this would be perfect for that. Overkill for a retro gaming setup (system depending). I picked up one that I will turn into a system for my 8yo kid using AM4/DDR4 parts that I have just sitting here.

Yeah - I keep using my trusty ol' USB wifi dongle.

Rock solid and uses the still-affordable DDR4 memory.
I have the WiFi version in my VM cluster (without using the WiFi, of course). The four memory slots give lots of flexibility in a compact form factor.
If, for some reason, you're still a VMware slave, the onboard networking chipset is not compatible so you'll need to buy an Intel 82574L Ethernet card. Otherwise, Proxmox works perfectly on this board and is even able to read the thermal sensors which is something VMware will never do.

I'd add 3+3 150A (3x50A) VRMs with no heatsinks means you don't want to install anything over a 105w CPU, so basically limited to 6 or 8 cores with no overclocking. For me, I like my systems overbuilt for stability reasons, so I'd run any non-65w CPU in 65w Eco mode on this particular board if I was building with it.

I have this. I'd like to echo Golgatha's warning: do not use this for Ryzen 7 or 9 CPUs. When the VRMs thermally throttle, it causes the CPU clock speed to jump up and down wildly. Playing Marvel Rivals with a 5800x installed is enough to trigger this problem. Putting little heatsinks on the VRM yourself isn't enough to solve the problem either. I feel bad for anyone out there using this motherboard-they'd never expect the lag they experience when gaming is caused by this motherboard.
Skip this unless you're doing a Ryzen 3 or Ryzen 5 build for light workloads. But at that point, a mini PC is probably more cost effective, and is effectively just as upgradable since this motherboard hard-caps the performance of fast CPUs.
From my experience actually using and testing this motherboard, this motherboard is only capable of handling 65w CPUs, and even then only barely. You've been warned.

Perfect match for Ryzen 7 5700G.
