With the launch of the 270K Plus at $300, and it's performance exceeding the 285K, Newegg must clear inventory of this CPU SKU. This leaves the Ripjaws kit here priced higher than at first glance.

Scalpers didn't get as many rubes this go round, as a few years ago with GPUs. Definitely no more than $350 plus $275 tops for the CPU. The module drops are coming quicker now, though I still wont be putting 64 GB is any customer build until under $250 again.
