yeees let's gooo

also they have effectively a 10% back reward program, but the minimum redemption is after $500 spend Smilie (which probably isn't hard to do if you're serious about physical media lol)

The Criterion 4K double feature of I (Walked with a Zombie/ The Seventh Victim) on Amazon is cheaper. If everyone see's the same discount I was given, it should make the cost around $25 before tax. As opposed to $30 on Criterion.

Killers of the Flower Moon release day. Let's go!

Network is also a recent Criterion release, and it's exceptional!

Always appreciate a good Criterion sale. The only thing better is when Barns & Noble do it as I get points and they have a lower threshold for free shipping, but they're not running their sale right now.

Kurosawa or Terry Gilliam movies are good place to start---if they're available.

I just got my $50 certificate today for spending $500 and I only buy during the two 50% off sales a year. If you subscribe to the Criterion Channel streaming service they also give you certificates to use for the sale. I had $20 to use.

Wasn't sure what was in criterion, but here are some "best of" lists from RT & IMDB, fwiw.
I still need to prove compare each one:

I'm glad I force myself to only buy 4k. Else I'd be spending way too much.

Adds another title to avoid the shipping fee, meanwhile goes $25 over budget EEK!

Spent a bit more than I wanted lol. Got Network, Videodrome, McCabe & Miller, Adventures of Baron Munchausen, Days of Heaven and (one of my top 5 movies) Spinal Tap.

The farking Wong Kar Wai box set is so tempting! I can't make up my mind on the 4k transfer or if the regular Blu Ray being good enough.
