still can't decide whether or not to get a switch 2. I have a day 1 switch and haven't played in years, but am wanting to go back to it and the original ones sell for a decent amount due to not being patched, so I dunno.

I had previously bought Mario kart in one of the previous 20%discount sales and it's telling me I can't buy another one. Bummer. Wanted one to gift.

The Switch OLED for $216 with Mario Kart is a great deal. Even used OLED switch goes for $200-$300 on FB Marketplace and doesn't include Mario Kart. The game itself is $30-$40.

debating on getting OLED just to upgrade from reg switch. Don't really play that often, but this does seem like too good of a deal to pass up... decisions decisions

Would anything be different with Switch 2 for you vs Switch 1? It's much more powerful, but the experience is similar. I love mine, but Switch 1 was my favorite handheld/console of the last generation(s).

You could always wait for the inevitable OLED revision if that's something that interests you. I wish they had the option at launch.

well, for one thing I had dell rewards expiring and used it on a switch 2 controller just in case I did get one and for another thing I have read where some people say they'd never go back to playing zelda games on the original switch because supposedly it's so much better on the 2. Not that I am rushing to play the zelda games. That is why I stopped playing at all is because I can't stand that they changed it to open world and stripped out the magic and dungeons of the past ones, rather than keeping that overall feel AND adding open world elements.
