The light system on these guys will burn out eventually. I get a year or two out of the indoor ones and in the garage it's like a year. I'm not surprised the garage one goes out sooner being in Fl heat and all. Well worth the cost imho.
Gave one to my mother in law since she has a lot of house plants and she is a believer now lol
FYI, careful if you have cats that like to rub their tails over everything.....
