Even at 15% s&s ($0.26 per 100 sheets), it has the same regular price as Kirkland Soft Plush.

Quilted northern sheets are 3.8" x 4" vs Kirkland 4" x 4.5"

I've recently had this discussion with my wife. She wanted to change up because she heard it wasn't good for septics, but I've had no issues with it. From my understanding and research it mostly causes problems if you have larger usage (large families or just use a lot, etc.) that you're septic can't keep up with breaking it down. It just takes a little longer.

Any idea how these compare to Kirkland in terms of comfort and durability? I figure if Kirkland's are less durable, it would require using more sheets per wipe and defeat the benefit of larger sheets. 🤔

These are 3-ply, compared with 2-ply for Kirkland and Charmin. In my experience, Quilted Northern is a little softer and thicker than the Costco toilet papers, so it might be worth the premium if you value those features.

I actually work for a mill that makes both this and Kirkland. This is softer but sheets are narrower, overall thickness is higher. It is technically septic safe but most people on septic here don't opt to use it. I think Kirkland is the sweet spot for quality but this is a premium TP.

My girls have septic tanks and prefer Angel Soft. I don't and and use Northern Quilted.
