This Anker flat plug power strip stands out for its low profile design and handy outlet spacing, especially where a slim plug helps hide cords behind a TV or other tight setup. The six AC outlets and two USB A and two USB C ports cover basic charging needs, and the strip works well as a simple power strip for adapters and larger plugs. The main caveat is value, since similar strips are available for less, and the USB ports have reported reliability issues, including flickering lights and needing to replug devices. Surge protection also matters here, since the listing and comments point to only 300 joules.
The AC outlets can work as expected with good spacing for bulky adapters.
The flat plug design can fit into the unused space behind certain LG OLED TV mounting setups for cleaner cable management.
The strip can function properly when used only as a power strip without relying on the USB outputs.
The USB ports can be unreliable and may require unplugging and replugging a USB cable to start working.
The USB output can cause LED lights to flicker when the strip powers those devices.
The deal may be less compelling if other options offer more AC outlets for a similar price.
The surge protection value may be unclear because the listing details such as joules, max current, and voltage can raise questions.
