Looks like the saw is fine, but it's annoying that they call it a "Japanese saw" when it's actually a "made-in-China, Japanese-STYLE saw".

I bought this last time for fun to compare to my Suizan. It's garbage, for the price I couldn't even justify it. If you don't love your woodwork then this is fine. I prefer nice square cut.
