Agreed.
The only use case I can think of is if you're a B&M store and you want to eventually sell your floor model so you want to protect the screen. With that said, I don't think a few scratches on a floor model will deter some people from picking it up for cheap.

Only reason I think I want one is that the dealer was trying to sell me my truck with a screen protector for $300 added charge. Took me over an hour to get them to remove that from the invoice. After your comment, I'm not fully sure I need it... Thanks!
