They are. one of them is liek $40 and another i believe is $95. The good news? I haven't replace a filter and my unit still spits out 12 TDS/PPM water. so unless you're using an insane amount of water, i think the filters will last you awhile. When i installed my unit, I put a $20 inline TDS meter so i can see what it's spitting out. Here [amazon.com].

Had this thing since 2021. Super solid unit. TDS creep exists but thats most undersink RO systems.

Tempted, but the only power under my sink is for the disposal. Needing an active plug under the sink kills it for me.

If a common double outlet, often the switch only controls one of the outlets..be sure to test.

This unit has a built in pump that requires power. I have an older version and plumbed it to my fridge for water and ice. Works great where my old setup without a pump barely got any water to the fridge.

This should be default required in for for anything that needs replacement filters. Air purifiers, water filters, etc..
