I just received the wired version of this. Mine has one color backlit letters /numbers. Adjustable brightness and over 10 special effects. The wire version goes to sleep when the computer goes to sleep but remains lit at all times even when you walk away from it for over 24 hours. So will eliminate office or bedroom at night when computer is awake even with monitors in standby mode and not energized. Remembers it's configuration between unplugging and unplug it in USB cable. The rotary dial has tactile feedback analog Style when turning it. The keys bottom out with a thwack. No audible activation click inside the switches. Beautiful sound when typing. Scooped out finger pad on top of each key. I prefer Wireless but not mailing back at this point.
