So I haven't had a game system since the N64, and I just picked up a Switch 2. Are there any obvious standouts (Switch 1 or 2) there that I should be looking to grab?
I played up to Pokémon Silver/Gold back in the day. I'm thinking about Lets Go Pikachu; I downloaded the demo and didn't absolutely love it, but it was pretty limited.

-Mario Kart for racing,
-Hollow Knight for platforming,
-Fire Emblem for tactics,
-any Mario Game for platforming or 3D world exploration,
-Metroid for FPS

Try Hollow Knight Silksong. Top ten best games I've ever played. Plays like Super Metroid. I paid $20. I'd rebuy at $100.
