For roborock, I'd wait to buy one from either Costco or when they sell them on ebay with the Squaretrade warranty. I picked up the s7 max V ultra off a deal on here and it came with the 2 year warranty. Used it sporadically but when I started using it on a set schedule often, the flaw appeared. Turns out the mop wash tray was getting some wires wet and it would short out the dock sensor on the dock itself. The vacuum was useless after that. Fortunately, I got every penny back and it happened a month before the warranty went out.
