This is actually a pretty good PSU. I've had the 1,200W one powering a system with an RTX 5090 for over a year and it has been totally solid. It's not on any of the "tier spreadsheets", but if you look at the specs, it has nearly all of the features that the review sites look for in higher-end models.

I actually see an extra 10% coupon for the 1,200W one right now, bringing the price down to $103.49.

A- on the PSU tier list. That said, website just says only a 2 year warranty. That really should put it at E or F on the tier list according to the criteria. This is a hard pass.

You know who else only has a two year warranty? Raidmax. This is the same category.

I'm not seeing the discount so I guess it must be targeted.

I'm glad to see they finally put it on the tier list. When I bought it, it hadn't yet been ranked. That said, what criteria are you referring to where you think it doesn't meet the criteria for A-? It's all green under the specifications that they look for. Raidmax doesn't have a single PSU on the tier sheet above a B, and none with this level of specs.

My take is that Redragon is a peripherals company primarily and that's why they only offer a 2-year warranty. But it's a white-labeled, highly-specced Helly under the hood.

Tiering criteria is explicit when they say anything under a three year warranty must be an E or worse. If it's so good then they should have no problem with a 10 year warranty. They cheaped out somewhere.
