You can get cheap amazon fiberglass paddles for about 20-25$ a set. Random brand, but they get job done. Fiberglass paddles can be had at <$12 each. This gets you on the court, learn the rules, have fun with friends and family, keep in the car. You can move onto the gen1/2 paddles if you decide you like the game and want to do more.

These paddles may have slightly better overgrips and surface grit than cheap amazon sets, but at this price point you can move up to the next tech/generation jump. $20 a paddle should get you carbon fiber frame, T700 surface grit, maybe even foam injected edge and thermoformed.

At $20 you can even find gen2 carbon fiber paddles (Warping Point) when on a deal. Otherwise there are plenty of Gen1 paddles on temu/ali.

Yes, I know, I have a temu set as well.
But this is for folks who want a name brand for cheap. Joola is a brand known to folks. Warping point, not so much.
