Waiting for one to hit 300 used (this is refurb so same thing). Next watch should have new generation cpu based in a19 (watch cpu are on 3 year cadence). So might see if there are any real improvements.

The O2 sensor was disabled via software only in the United States. The Hardware was always there (someone double check me on this, but I'm 99% certain they never removed the sensor entirely). There has since been a work-around where it still measures the O2 and shows you on your phone, but no on the watch as this apparently follows the letter of patent law well enough that Apple got it past.
