Just got 2 of these. I would consider these a step up from the typical "soft" armrest models. Chair is moderately comfortable at a good height. You sit at a regular upright angle that is suitable for things like holding a plate of food at a picnic for example. The "hard" armrests are made of a metal tube with padding material wrapped around it. The backrest is high enough to reach my shoulders, but no higher. For $11, this is a decent temporary use chair for car camping or stowing at the house for occasional backyard BBQs. I would NOT recommend this for carrying around on your shoulders due to its weight and size. It is quite long when folded and fairly heavy. You definitely could get a chair with better features, but not at $11.

I just got 4 and used them yesterday. The arm rests are a step up than the ones without. Definitely happy for the price. They came a day early too from Walmart shipping (w+)
