Flexvolt are the 60v batteries from Dewalt, the flexvolt advantage tools don't require the 60v battery so you can operate it flexibly if u have either; however, when using the flexvolt 60v battery you unlock additional (up to 77%) more power from the tool.
it's a hybrid/backward compatible battery platform 20/60v

First thing, is this a really nice grinder, most powerful 20v. Flexvolt advantage was bad marketing and now discontinued. They weren't actually 60v tools, like Flexvolt and they didn't need flexvolt batteries. The current model of this grinder is dcg410. The only difference is they removed the flexvolt advantage decals and replaced with XR decals. Either one are awesome 20v grinders, regardless what decal they have.

Amazon has the same grinder for $147.85 and free overnight shipping with a Prime Acct. I see a number of deals around the same price and it makes me wonder if they are clearing out inventory of the FlexVolt. Its not a bad grinder if you need one and in particular if you don't have one with the E-CLUTCH that shuts down the motor of DEWALT angle grinder in under a tenth of a second when a pinch/stall is detected and anti kickback features.
