The real deals here are the PlayStation Fortnite bundles which are $100 less than other pricing and $200 less than they'll be on the 2nd. Wanted to make the thread so anyone on the fence about purchasing had time to before the price increases next week.

This will kill the industry. No one will be able to afford these prices to game.

The sooner this AI/data center bs is over with the better
Not sure it will ever be over. By the time they build all this crap they will be obsolete and need to upgrade the components. The proper thing would be to use the damn AI to increase the production of all the components.

Except Drumph immediately instated new tariffs under a different law to skirt the ruling.
This isn't from tariffs regardless. It's cause of the AI Datacenters that have preordered components for datacenters that haven't even been built yet.

I don't have one and I wanted one recently solely because of Ghost of Yotei. But I don't want one now.
That's not a game to buy a console for. lol

Yeah there was a deal thread for it but they were rare to actually find in stock.
Still, this is complete insanity. I got an Astro Bot disc bundle for $377. If someone has a PS4, they might as well skip it at this point. PS4 games still look great. I only bought one because I didn't have space for a dedicated 4K Blu-ray player. There are a lifetime of great old games to play.

Wow, that is significant price increase on the PS5 Pro. I'm glad I snag one during last year's Days of Play sales for approximately $435. There was an incredible deal with Dell, Amex, and a CB site that all stacked up.

The price increase sucks, but these are still a lot cheaper than a new phone and (some) people go out and upgrade those every year for very little advantage. At least when you buy a console, you know you are good for 5-8 years.
This console has been out for over 5 years. It may prompt a few people on the fence to buy before the increase, but I can't see many people buying a 5 year old console after a 2nd price increase.
