This RIDGID starter kit pairs two 4.0 Ah 18V batteries with a charger and bag, making it a strong value for anyone who wants extra runtime without jumping to heavier packs. The 4 Ah size is called out as a sweet spot for weight and portability, and the included bag adds appeal. The kit also appears to line up with RIDGID's Max Output 4 Ah set, while the main caution is Home Depot's limited price adjustment policy, which may force a return and rebuy if the price drops.
homeowners or DIYers who want to stock up on 18V batteries in the 2Ah/4Ah range because they prefer those sizes for their size and weight, and this kit gives you two 4.0Ah batteries plus a charger and bag for $63.20.
people who specifically need "more batteries" because the deal is essentially 2x 4.0Ah batteries bundled with the charger and bag, so it's a straightforward way to add capacity rather than buying single batteries.
buyers comparing the standard RIDGID 18V kit to the MAX Output starter kit because commenters say the items are the exact same, so you can buy this kit without worrying about a different battery/charger set.
shoppers who were planning to buy batteries but also want the charger and manuals included because one commenter said they didn't realize the kit included the charger/manuals and were pleasantly surprised.
people who are trying to time a price drop because Home Depot won't price-adjust if it goes lower and will instead require return/rebuy.
buyers who rely on Home Depot's deal guarantees or price-match style adjustments because another commenter reported being told to buy/return on a direct deal, implying limited help if the price changes.
shoppers who are only interested in the batteries and don't want to pay for a charger/bag because at least one commenter initially thought it was just batteries/appliances and only later realized the charger/manuals were included.

Obviously you need to be either active or a veteran to get this. Why is this better than military discount? in addition to the 10% military discount HD gives you pay no sales tax or shipping either as long as the total is >$49
