I bought this the last time it was on sale in the Pastel Paradise color and for $10, it's definitely worth it. The clip is nice, but not really my thing - it feels like it would mess up the seal to carry it like that constantly. As far as keeping my drinks cold (in the south) I definitely didn't experience 24+ hours of it staying cold, it was more like 10-12...but once again I'm in the south and outdoors often. Worth it for a fraction of the price of my Coldest brand Tumbler.

Any comparison to Owala freesip?
IMO, the Owala is much easier to clean - but I like the Ello's locking mechanism on the side especially if you drop by accident it won't pop everything open. Ello feels a bit sturdier all around. That's been my experience so far. Overall though, if they were both priced at $10 - I was going with the Owala Freesip. Current price for the Freesip for the same size is not worth it, imo, but I'm sure to someone it is. So far, the Coldest brand has been my top one. I bought 3 of these Ello green ones, worth it for gifts.

I bought a set of two water bottles for my child from Sam's Club. When they fell on the ground, the clear lids cracked very easily
We have 6 of these that are less than a year old. 3 of them, the lids broke. They are the most fragile water bottles I've ever seen.
That being said, they do work well in terms of keeping water cold.
Also, the tall slender shape makes it easier to store, stack, or carry. When we are all traveling together, we pop these in a soft sided cooler, and all 6 stand up, perfectly. No other water bottles that we tried would fit like that.
Shape also makes it easy for my 5 yo to hold her own.
Customer service will happily send you another lid if you contact them and send pix. It takes a long time, and the color may not be the original one. If you read reviews on ellos site, there are lots of people disappointed in the lid.
I keep mine mostly because of the shape.
All the details inside the lid when you see the pic of open bottle. Is it hard to keep clean because of these hard to reach areas and small plastic details ? I have always preferred simple bottles with simple lids so it's easy to rinse and keep clean but thinking if this is worth a try for $10.
