I have a couple of these and they've done their job well.

Agree with the other commenters. I have 6 or 8 of these controlling lamps, my Christmas tree over the holidays, different lights in my kids rooms, etc, and they are super robust. Never fail to follow their schedules in the Kasa app and are very robust with Alexa too.

My only hesitation is I want to start moving to Apple Home because Alexa is not my favorite for automations (I only use the Kasa app with these and about 15 Kasa switches). There's two TP-Link Kasa versions (Matter and Tapo) that will work with both Alexa and Apple home and also Google. These will not.

Have a handful of these. Been trying to migrate off older gen Slickdeals smart outlets. These are easy to setup and do the trick for simple uses

Tempted for 2 more...

I saw IKEA just launched their new smart plug product with energy monitor at $8. Same spec at maximum 1800W. Plus it supports Matter over thread so should be seamless with Apple Home. Too bad Apple Home doesn't show energy data natively, but if you have HA it should work.

I have quite a few Kasa products. From their plugs to their bulbs. Solid company. Solid products. Definitely buying a new 4 pack of the smart plugs, myself for the living room.
