A flat EDC flashlight with flood, spot, UV, and laser modes, this ArkPro Ultra stands out for its compact shape, strong brightness, and handy work features. The magnetic charger, dial switch, and lifetime warranty add to the appeal, and the UV and laser get real use for inspections, leaks, and pointing things out. The main knocks are the high price and built in battery, with some also wanting a deeper carry clip or cheaper alternatives. A specialized carry light with broad utility.
Common Questions (5)
It is reported to hold up well under heavy use, with examples including daily carry for years, all-day work use, fuel and oil exposure, drops, and even being run over. The lifetime warranty and quick replacements also make it easier to keep in service.
Many see it as expensive for a flashlight, especially versus simpler Olight keychain lights or cheaper models like Wurkkos HD02/HD01 Pro and Sofirn SC13. Supporters say the flat form factor, dial switch, multiple beams, UV, and battery indicator justify the premium for work-heavy or specialized use.
The flood and spot beams are used together for everyday work, the UV helps with tasks like termite checks, rodent urine trails, oil leaks, and glow items, and the laser is useful for pointing things out to clients or finding a beam in dark areas. Several users say the laser gets used more than expected.
It uses a built-in battery, so replacement is not straightforward and the light may be less useful once the battery wears out. The upside is that owners report long runtimes and years of use, but the battery is still a key long-term tradeoff.
Yes if you are price-sensitive: it has been seen around $99-$104 during sales, and commenters expect it to get cheaper over time. The current $110.49 price is viewed as high unless you specifically want this feature set now.

I purchased the OG version of the Arkfeld on release in August of 2022. I still have it though the battery has lost capacity. I was looking to upgrade to the Arkpro Ultra but there are many things I've come to heavily dislike about Olights that I've started moving away from them, for example:
You loose the ability to use Turbo when the battery capacity hits 50% and below. The magnetic end, while it can be useful, it isn't useful in my work environment since it ends up with metal shavings often. The light, even though it has a "memory" function, always reverts to low output after short periods of not being used. I absolutely HATE the "hold the power button for several seconds to lockout the light" because it feels like an eternity while waiting disable the lockout. Yes, this isn't exclusive to Olight and applies to many light on the market.
The Ultra does have a flood and a spot option which is nice but I cannot see myself living with another Arkfeld for a few years well built as it may be.
I picked up the EDC17 and It's almost and I mean almost perfect. Small for everyday/work carry. Excellent output (1500 lumens), decent battery size, simple UI and Instant on with the flick of a clicky switch. Turbo works all the way down to 20ish percent of battery capacity. Has a glass breaker which, yes it works, and I find more useful than a magnet. You can pick one up on Aliexpress frequently for $60 or less, free shipping. Mine arrived in 9 days. Flat EDC lights are the way to go in my opinion and yes, the downside is that the battery isn't easliy replaceable if at all in most cases. It's a great time to be a flashlight addict for y'alls into that.
