On another note, remember that if you are a Kroger card member, you get $0.10/gal on gas for every $100 spent. During these trying times, it is best to do what one can to buy gas cheaper than regular price. Good luck!

Gas was $5.16 yesterday at Costco in Fullerton, CA

Back in 1938, gas was $0.10/gal on $0.25/hr. Today, that would be $2.90/gal on $7.25/hr. I live in a $7.25/hr. minimum wage state. The gas at Costco is $3.64.

In CA, where the minimum wage is $16.90/hr., gas proportioned by minimum wage/price would be affordable up to $6.757/gal.
So if you are getting it under that, you are doing well.
