Really? I've had a pretty good experience with them and so has everyone else in my family. My parents have an older Hisense and the speakers on it are loud like on mine. I'm more skeptical with Vizio's , Westinghouse, and insignia. In my experience those are the only tvs that have ever failed on me.

So it lasted over 5 years and you are scared? For as cheap as they are seems pretty good. Refrigerators used to last decades now only a few years.

If only it wasn't a Fire TV. I don't even want one of those WITH an Apple TV.

Will never recommend a Hisense. Awful.

My last Hisense just went out. Got it Dec 2020. Kind of scared to try them again but their deals are always tempting.

I see your point. But I have other brands going on 10+ years and no issues. Inexpensive doesn't always need to be disposable.

I had a Dyanora 13 inch that lasted me from 1985 to 2010 when I threw it out due to a move, it still worked , but that's not gonna happen in 2026. There's a reason why tv's are so cheap, you're only gonna get 3-5 years out of them

Most of the newer led tvs will only last 5-6. No matter the brand. I had 65 inch LG and Samsungs go out from 2020 that went out in 2024 and 2025.

Was looking at this ud7, and tcl qm6k. Almost pulled the trigger on this the other day at $597, so finally pulled the trigger at this price. Will be going in the basement, which is mostly used for roku/youtube anyways.
