If you need this saw and a 4AH battery there is an active deal at HD for 135. I have more than enough batteries otherwise I'd jump on it.

After purchasing 3-4 larger 'reconditioned' products. I can confirm this to be accurate. I ended up having to fix both a miter saw and planer that were recertified. The planer was even missing 1 of the 3 blades. Both were easily and inexpensively fixed though. On top of that, Direct Tools never packs these recertified items well. Every item was just tossed in a large box with zero padding.

The blemished items all do have very minor blemishes. Examples: jig saw had crooked Ryobi printing. A Ryobi shopvac's lid wasn't perfectly aligned to its bucket. Both work great though.
