Series Details: In a bitter divorce settlement from her husband, Rebecca Welton (Hannah Waddingham) becomes the new owner of AFC Richmond, a struggling Premier League football team. Her first order of business is to fire the team's current manager and replace him with a small-time American football coach, Theodore "Ted" Lasso (Jason Sudeikis). Ted and assistant Coach Beard (Brendan Hunt) cross the pond to manage the team. Richmond is about to change the way they do things. From now on, it's the Lasso way.

Wow, I didn't know this. I thought it was going to be the opposite because I thought the show initially "ended" because he didn't want to do it anymore. It's kinda a shame. Even though he is the crucial character of the show, I have learned to love the other characters more, especially the players.
