As I understand, this type of machine is good for people who are elderly or have poor blood circulation to prevent blood clots in their legs. Diabetic people have poor blood circulation which often affects their legs and feet. Due to diabetes, someone I know lost his (all?) toes on both feet.

$60 for this battery operated crap or just get off your ass & walk for free? Tough choice.

Its like those battery operated bikes. What's the point? And Americans wonder why they're fat, other than their overly processed garbage fatty foods.
Fyi not everyone who gets an ebike cruises around on it using the throttle. E.g. I have one and live in a very hilly area. I only use the electric assist on hills, since they would otherwise often discourage me from going for a bike ride at all.

I ride about 10x as much now that I have an e-bike, and most of the time its under my own leg power

Got this for an elderly relative who can't even walk. Gets some circulation going/leg movement. There is a "motor off" mode for manual use, but no tension/no adjustable tension. It is what is is - not an "exercise machine" for healthy people, just a "keep your legs moving" device.

I'm really confused... doesn't the motor defeat the purpose of exercise? Also skeptical of any reviews that mention the full name of the product ... "I bought this Under Desk Elliptical Leg Exerciser Machine" ... come on
I've had this in my cart for a couple weeks watching the price fluctuate because of an upcoming knee surgery where passive movement will be important to recovery. The motor is why I'm getting this. I'm going from a very active life to being laid up for a couple weeks. This will be excellent. Thanks for posting, OP!

In for one. I have bone on bone contact in my knees which makes walking painful and makes me prone to falls. This will allow me to get some exercise and improve circulation. And, yes, I am a senior!

Bought it for myself. I have bad knees and severe arthritis in my hip. Works great.
