I'd get this if I didn't already have the tool check plus (which is a fantastic compact set). This has some of that the Tool Check doesn't have while it misses some things it does have.

Harbor Freight has an Icon set that is a better deal. You don't get the hex keys but you get more sockets. Not the same quality as Wera but using a coupon it is half the price

Driver on the new meme tool is also a downgrade. The old one had the bit driver integrated. The new one you have to use an adapter.

Cool offering but dang that's expensive. The HFT Icon set looks great too...seems like these might be nice for a motorcycle, bicycle, or otherwise trip where you need tools but also need to pack light.

i too like the quality of Harbor Freight versus all these german brands. FungQuangShaxShaun Tool Copmany has never let me down yet.

This definitely has the cool factor of being modular but looking at the offerings, I think I much rather prefer to have the original tool check plus, separate precision driver, and separate L keys.

This will come out to be more expensive but you also do get a lot more bits.

It hasn't been often that I grabbed my tool check plus or precision driver set and thought "dangit, I need the other one". But of course YMMV.

You should try the gen 1 mem tool from Icon, it is a nice little kit. I feel it is just as good as my tiny Wiha kit.

New one seems to prioritize the sockets vs the bits, while the old one was the other way around. New kit also seems twice as big and twice the price. Different tools for different goals, I think.
