Well known established brand for DJ equipment and home audio. Never seen them make earbuds though.

Heard of denon for stereo speakers when I was a kid. Not for buds. What's wrong with them for such a discount?

Should I take these with a grain of salt just like those recent products that sport the Nakamichi badge?

from Ai search No Companion App: You cannot customize the EQ or update firmware.
  • Mediocre Battery Life: Offers about 4.8 hours with ANC on, which is lower than many modern rivals.
  • Limited Features: Lacks multipoint connectivity (connecting to two devices at once) and wireless charging.
  • No Volume Control: You must use your phone or player to adjust the volume. 1

Re the Denon brand: it was state of the art back in the day - speakers, turntable cartridges, etc. These buds may have their limitations as stated above, but I doubt they are "cheap" even at this price. For $30 for a name brand, it was worth a try.

All the reviews basically say they are good for listening to music, but not much more.

Which could be why Denon is cleaning out old stock

Ordered a pair yesterday for the gym and work calls.

Edit: got them today, had some connection issues right off the bat. Right ear bud did not work, connection to laptop BT did not work due to wrong PIN code.

The disconnected earbud was fixed by doing a complete reset by having case open and holding back button for 10sec. Pair both earbuds together requires an addition double press while in case after reset.

Pin code for BT connect in booklet was 0000 but that is incorrect. After a few tries I was able to guess 00000000 and that worked.

Overall sound is good. ANC is decent. No multipoint kind of sucks. Touch controls work ok. Comes with a short usb a to c cable and 2 other sizes of silicone ear tips.
