This Walgreens soda promo works out to a strong price on 12 pack 12 ounce Coke products, especially once the $10 Walgreens Cash is factored in. The best value appears to be buying nine packs, with effective pricing around $3.75 to $4 per 12 pack and a mix of Coke, Sprite, and Fanta possible. The main catches are fulfillment and checkout limits, since pickup orders can be shorted, carts may cap one flavor at six, and the reward only triggers when the spend threshold is met in one transaction. A solid stock up option if the order processes cleanly.
Common Questions (5)
Yes, it can be cheaper than Amazon's current 12-pack pricing, which is often around $4.50-$5 per pack before considering Walgreens Cash. Amazon soda orders are also reported to arrive close to expiration, flat, or damaged.
Yes, but only up to $3 in Walgreens Cash can be used if you want to qualify for the $10 bonus. The purchase must also hit $40 out of pocket before tax in a single transaction.
The cart may cap one flavor at 6, and the pricing logic changes after 5 items because it prorates the buy-2-get-3 pricing. The best value is reported at 9 total 12-packs with the $10 Walgreens Cash offer; buying 10 raises the effective per-pack cost.
No. Splitting the order into 3/3/3 improves the chance of fulfillment, because pickup orders can be underfilled or canceled when stores are short on stock.
The order can come mixed, with one reported fulfillment being mostly Coke plus orange Fanta and Sprite. That makes flavor splitting a practical way to avoid getting stuck with all one variety.

About 35 cents if u count walgreens cash as cash
I'd rather wait for a jewel or amz sale
I agree, jumping through hoops for $5 a 12 pack -- please. The bottles are cheaper these days anyway. I don't drink them either but I do buy them when they're on sale for different reasons.

What hoops are there? you order online, clip a coupon on the site and go pick it up. You'd think they are asking you to stand on your head for 5 hours before they'll place your order.
People's reasons for dismissing a deal make me laugh sometimes. 'I want to save money, but this is far too complicated"
First off, if you were planning on needing the soda to drink it after you got it and it tastes like crap, then you have to go out and buy soda all over again likely paying more.
And since food items aren't returnable you have to jump through 'AI CHAT' and live person chat hoops to get credit. It can take 10-15 minutes assuming you are successful in getting full credit for the item(s).
So, to reply to your 'what the problem is', that's the problem.
kind of odd to see people defending a multi-trillion (market cap wise) company. Just need to go to any soda amazon slickdeals and they'll see the same post about expired or flat soda.
Easier said 'it's free' than done.

and as I mentioned, you still need the soda.......so now you have to physically go out and buy it somewhere wasting more of your time and money.
I stand by my comments.

The fact that you even have to resolve the problem of near expired goods in the first place is a problem......this isn't a case of something damaged in shipment.
