What? You mean a plastic shelf setup in your shed shouldn't have completely sagging shelves after you put a bag of fertilizer and jug of car wash on it?

I have the tan version of this. The 40 lb limit per shelf is I believe a gross overestimation for long-term storage. The weight needs to be spread out on the shelf (preferably biased to towards the walls); if all the weight is near or at the center of the shelf, it will sag over time.

That being said, I paid nearly this same price 10 years ago, and it's been in my hot garage the whole time. If you just store light things in it, it should hold up fine, but don't expect it to withstand any level of abuse. Also, the "lockable" feature is far too generous a description.

i had the beige version of these

it's fine for very lightweight things, but would not use it to store anything of significant weight over time (even if you are below the capacity limit).

we ended up selling them on a local facebook group and just got regular shelving units since we didn't need the doors and didn't need the lock. we just liked the look of the doors which is why we got them in the first place

Warning!! Do NOT purchase from Spreetail. I bought something from them on amazon, that arrived broken. I sent it back within 2 business days? And when they received it they only refunded me half citing that it was not in "saleable condition." This is one of the few times I would support buying it directly from amazon instead of Spreetail. They had amazing reviews which is why I bought from them previously, but they would not budget on my refund so I gave up.

I have this for my parents to store medical supplies. I wouldn't recommend it for anything heavy, like the detergent they have in their pictures. Would sag for sure, but its great for lighter storage

I bought this a year ago for deck storage. The doors never stayed shut, I had to use a rubber coated tie to keep it closed. The "pins" that hold the door to the frame broke on both doors. Kind of junk, I don't recommend.
