I grabbed the recent $190 target deal but honestly they don't feel like much of an upgrade from my pro 2s. I think I'm probably just going to buy a loose usb C charging case for them and move on with my life bc the biggest annoyance is the lighting port

I've heard mix reactions regarding the pro 3s. Some say they're significantly better sound and some say not huge difference. I'll test out and report back soon. Getting mine today

Huge difference in ANC and transparency if that matters to you. I used my AirPods Pro 2 heavily so battery was dying quickly and it was my last lightening device.

That was the updated model of the Pro 2s. The original Pro 2 case was lightning. Mine is lightning.

1,000% exact opposite for me. Zero difference and the 2'd just felt better. Purchased the 3's from Amazon recently hoping they would be better than my 2's, but nope. 3's fall out when I eat, and the tips do go further in your ear canal. Noise cancellation was no different at all. Even was worse on some tip sizes, which would be expected. Returned mine. Will just keep using the 2's.

I took my 2's and the 3's (and all the tips) and tested in real world conditions. Zero difference. 3's were actually much, much worse if you use a tip sizes that doesn't fit perfectly. The seal measurement though would talk me all the sized fit, but I could tell a huge loss on the xs and xss ones. The s and m were okay, but noise cancellation wasn't any better compared to my 2's. Also, while eating the m and s would fall out of my ear. XS was better but didn't do noise cancellation well.
