This Acer 15.6 inch 1080p portable monitor is best as a thin, travel friendly second screen for work trips and around the house. The stand feels solid, it comes with the needed cables, and USB C can handle both power and video on many laptops. The 1080p resolution is considered adequate for this size, though it can feel a bit low on a 15.6 inch panel. The main tradeoff is value and refurb condition, since Amazon's price and 90 day warranty look weaker than some Acer eBay refurb listings with longer coverage.
The monitor can deliver both power and video through a single USB-C cable on many laptops.
The included mini-HDMI to standard HDMI cable supports easy connection to a Windows PC setup.
The 15.6-inch 1080p resolution can be sufficient for work trips and everyday tasks.
Acer refurb purchases reportedly can arrive in excellent condition with needed cables and a longer warranty.
The 1080p resolution may feel low for a 15.6-inch screen size.
DeX compatibility reportedly can be unreliable even after trying multiple cables.
Amazon refurb condition labeling may differ from eBay tiers, and the cheaper option may include a scratch or dent.
Amazon's refurb warranty reportedly lasts only 90 days, while eBay certified refurb reportedly offers 1-2 years.

very good refurb - https://www.ebay.com/itm/26722971...SwV7
certified refurb - https://www.ebay.com/itm/26722877...Sw-M9pYXjK
probably better off buying from ebay for both. comes with 1-2 yr all-state warranty depending on condition vs. the 90 days from amazon.
Just wanted to point that out since it'll matter to some and not to others. I'm picking up one of the cheaper ones for a build where everything but the screen will be hidden, anyway so as long as the screen itself is in good condition, I'm happy to save the $10.
