I got approval through the chat and took it to my local Best Buy, and they honored it. They had to apply a percentage discount instead, which actually saved me an extra 8 cents since their system wouldn't allow the exact adjustment.
If the first person on chat doesn't approve it, try again. I got approved the first time but got disconnected, and the next rep said they couldn't see the previous chat and denied it. I tried again, and the third person approved it too.
It probably helped that I'm within 20 miles of NFM.
