This OMEN MAX 45L is a 5090 gaming desktop whose main appeal is the RTX 5090 at a price that lands around $3,510 to $3,550 with coupon NOTKIDDING30. The build also includes a Ryzen 7 9700X, 32GB of DDR5, and a 1TB SSD, and the full PC is seen as a solid way to get the card plus the rest of the system. The main cautions are HP's bulky case, minimal cooling and software limits, plus the 9700X being viewed as a lower tier CPU for this class. Shipping may also run about two weeks, so it suits buyers who can wait and can live with OEM tradeoffs.

  • The displayed price may be before the promo code, and the coupon may require signing out or using incognito to apply.

    BlueDesk9616TeachMeHowtkohLyrrad

  • HP cooling and case airflow may be minimal, which can limit how well a high-end RTX 5090 performs.

    JohnPNLuigis3rdcousin

  • The estimated ship date can extend to mid-May, which may delay when the PC arrives.

    RelaxedMusic466

  • HP software can restrict performance options and may warn that enabling extreme performance mode voids warranty.

It's ridiculous that people think they can sell an OEM 5090 with almost no warranty for $3,000. Good deal and I would just buy if I really need a new PC.

You may think it's ridiculous but that's exactly what's happening. Go to eBay and search for 5090 completed listings.

That's not even the same PC. The post is for an AMD chip and your video is the Intel variant. It's not a proprietary PSU or motherboard, like what dell would give you, so what's proprietary about it other than the cheapest parts, which happen to be the case and cooling?

The fact that it lasted as long as it did is impressive. The 5090s might finally hit a ceiling for cost.

i purchased but canceled. while the spec on paper seems good but the fact this case and hp software prevents you from using not even 80% of the spec is a scam. the hp software actually displays a warning stating you will void warranty when you turn on extreme performance mode.

Same. I cancelled after ordering. I just couldn't justify the costs.

Could you give more details? Where do you see the throttling? I saw the YouTube video but that was for Intel.
