This CyberPower prebuilt centers on a 7800X3D and RTX 5070 Ti, and the strongest takeaway is the parts value for the money. The bundled 32GB of RAM, 2TB SSD, Corsair RM850 power supply, and included keyboard and Resident Evil Code bundle help the price compare well against building from scratch. The main caveat is that the checkout price and linked configuration do not always match the advertised total, and the power supply shown in the link can differ from the description. A solid value play if the final configured price lines up.

  • The deal can still pencil out as cheaper than buying comparable CPU, RAM, and GPU parts separately.

    Clk1986Clk1986

  • The RTX 5070 Ti pricing can be around $1k or more, which supports the prebuilt's relative value.

    HonestRoom774

  • The system includes an A+ tier Corsair 850W power supply, which can reduce PSU concerns in a prebuilt.

    dtrain035

  • The bundle adds a mech keyboard and Resident Evil code alongside the 5070 Ti upgrade.

    PinoyRukus

  • The deal's implied MSRP comparisons can be disputed, with some commenters challenging the $2700 figure.

    bbbbbrianSmilingHalibut742

  • The checkout price may not reach the advertised $1783 after applying code and matching the listed specs.

    OrangeMagic4534

  • The PCPartPicker link can show different components than the description, including a generic power supply selection.

    OrangeMagic4534

  • The PCPartPicker estimate can omit key items like a case, keyboard, mouse, or game, which can affect true build cost comparisons.

Total: $1960.961 (without motherboard)
The link ALSO does not include: a case, keyboard, mouse, or game.
I was gonna say. Pricing off the top of my head, seemed like RAM, CPU and GPU alone are about the price of this prebuilt...

You might want to check out the IBuyPower 9800X3d system at costco as it's showing a "deathstar" icon that it's not going to be restocked. Somebody got the display unit for $1k. Normal price is $1,900. Doesn't hurt to ask if you don't see it stocked and if you could buy the display unit. The costco one I checked had a Zotac 5070 and not MSI as in the post.

DDR5 prices are going down a little bit by some manufactuers because google found a way to do AI with a lot less RAM.

After searching desktops and laptops for a while, I bought this. I changed the CPU to the Ryzen 9900x and the CPU cooling to a 360mm to better cool this CPU.

Was the $120 mobo in stock? Lets say there was $120 mobo in stock. $420 cpu/mobo, $950 GPU, $320 RAM. Still sitting at $1690. Just need 2TB SSD (somewhere around $200+ or $250+), case, OS, PSU, Cooling... So yeah. Their pricing still checks out pretty firmly with being cheaper as a prebuilt, even with the mobo/cpu deal you suggest (which was probably OOS anyway).
