Almost everyone I've talked to both loves and hates the laser. They love how well it shows the dirt, and they also hate how well it shows the dirt,

I still have the v8. I been wanted to upgrade for a while and this is a bargain but horrible warranty of 90 days.

If you have an older model or a stick VAC without the LED, you can purchase one for roughly $20. Realized that the price jump just for the laser was not worth imo. Otherwise the attachments have been very good at showing dirt, hair, lint, etc. Like another user stated, I hate the fact that I'm cursed with this knowledge now

My house is mostly carpet and rugs so I bought this and sold the laser fluffy head for $80 on eBay. I see new v8s selling for over $400 and I got my refurb v15 for ~$220 and after a year of use, there's no sign that it was refused, the battery life is still great.

Think the fluffy head from the V15 makes a difference on hard floors? I currently have a V10 that's on its last legs, so thinking about the V10 for $200 or V15 for $270. If the V10 gets the "invisible dirt" as good as the V15, then I'll settle for that. The V10 only comes with the standard roller that's good for all surfaces.

I think the fluffy roller heads definitely make a difference on hard floors.

You definitely want a fuzzy roller for hard floors. Works great and much better than the brush roller.

Yes, it makes a big difference, would also recommend it for the laser
