Worth the $40 more for an extra battery and the charging hub. This is basically 2nd gen drone vs current 5fth gen at $900 for a similar combo.

I'm looking for an entry level drone for my outdoor hobbies, mainly 4x4 trips on trails. I'm undecided if I should pay the extra for a drone with follow mode or start with a lower cost drone. Any suggestions from those who use them?

Maybe also check out the Potensic ATOM (fly more package is the best way to go) factory refurbished on the *bay for under $200 (on sale a few months ago for $163). It has the follow function. 2 year Allstate warranty and appears/functions like new.
