As a handyman the DeWalt ones have been invaluable. Would pay full price if needed. Being able to slip under doors using my foot to raise, under counters putting in undermount sinks guiding with my hands as I use my foot to lift, having the strength to lift heavy furniture. Have a cheap set and they are junk. DeWalt you can screw 4*4s to add however much height you need

These are awful. All of these with this design. They lift things fine, but slam them down when you release them. There is absolutely no way to lower the object gently. It will slam down.
Garbage IMHO. If I care enough for the item to lift it, i sure as hell don't want to slam it down when I release the lift.

I have a set that looks identical to these and they work fine. I haven't put a ton of load on them but they held up a 80lb door frame with no issue.

Dewalt you can push down on the handle with your foot, this one looks like you have to pull up on the bottom one (squeeze)

The Vevor ones were just available for the same price and they are fine. I could definitely use something with a calmer release latch... yeesh.

I have the orange one. It's great.
Not a tool that I use frequently but when I use it it totally solves the problem. It was crucial when I fixed my dishwasher. I also used it to pry open some wood boxes, to lift a door, and when I need another pair of hands around to lift something while I work on it. It's quite strong.

These are awful. All of these with this design. They lift things fine, but slam them down when you release them. There is absolutely no way to lower the object gently. It will slam down.
Garbage IMHO. If I care enough for the item to lift it, i sure as hell don't want to slam it down when I release the lift.

That's why the DeWalts are worth the price. Being able to step on it to raise it also has both a slow and fast release option

I just got them. The descending is too fast could cause damage. If you don't want to spend a lot, VEVOR has similar products sold at Lowe's which has slow release.
