This labor saving arm jack is useful for lifting doors, furniture, counters, and other awkward loads when you need an extra pair of hands. It is described as strong enough for tasks like a dishwasher repair and even an 80 pound door frame, and the foot operated style on higher end versions is praised for keeping both hands free. The main drawback is the release action, which is described as too fast and prone to slamming the load down. That makes the smoother slow release on pricier alternatives more appealing for delicate work.

Common Questions (4)

  • This design appears to require pulling or squeezing the lower part instead of stepping on it. That makes it less convenient for slipping under doors or counters, where foot-operated jacks are easier to use.

  • No slow, controlled lowering is reported for this design; it can drop or slam down when released. That makes it risky for anything that needs to come down gently, and some shoppers prefer VEVOR or DeWalt-style alternatives with slower release options.

  • An identical-looking set reportedly held an 80 lb door frame without issue, and the tool is described as strong enough for lifting doors, furniture, and other heavy items. It is still best treated as a helper for positioning rather than a precision lift.

  • It can solve one-off lifting tasks like fixing a dishwasher, prying open wood boxes, lifting a door, and holding something in place while you work. It is especially useful when you need an extra pair of hands for short, heavy lifts.

Do you have any experience with the Irwin ones? Wondering how they compare to the DeWalt offering.
I looked at them however it Irwin handles reverse, can't use your foot. I would say that cuts their usefulness in half as half the time I use these I use my foot to lift, just used two days ago moving around furniture for painting, lifting heavy things to put sliders underneath and used my hands not foot to operate

I just got them. The descending is too fast could cause damage. If you don't want to spend a lot, VEVOR has similar products sold at Lowe's which has slow release. Labor Saving Arm Jack 2 PCS 440 lbs Bearing Capacity Lifting up to 7.7in Metal Hand Lifting Jack Tool with Magnetic Level 2 Adjustment Modes for Door Window Furniture Woodworking Black https://www.lowes.com/pd/VEVOR-La...5016882611
That's good to know. Wish these went higher though!
