Garbage IMHO. If I care enough for the item to lift it, i sure as hell don't want to slam it down when I release the lift.

This labor saving arm jack is useful for lifting doors, furniture, counters, and other awkward loads when you need an extra pair of hands. It is described as strong enough for tasks like a dishwasher repair and even an 80 pound door frame, and the foot operated style on higher end versions is praised for keeping both hands free. The main drawback is the release action, which is described as too fast and prone to slamming the load down. That makes the smoother slow release on pricier alternatives more appealing for delicate work.
The DeWalt-style foot operation can raise the jack by stepping on the handle for easier positioning.
The jack can lift a heavy door frame without issue when used for moderate loads.
The jack can solve lifting tasks like fixing a dishwasher, prying wood boxes, and lifting doors.
The DeWalt-style design can offer both slow and fast release options for more controlled lowering.
The release mechanism can slam the lifted object down with no way to lower gently.
The descending action can be too fast and may cause damage during release.
The handle operation may require pulling or squeezing the bottom instead of using a foot to raise.
The release latch can feel less calm than alternatives, which can make lowering feel unpleasant.

Not a tool that I use frequently but when I use it it totally solves the problem. It was crucial when I fixed my dishwasher. I also used it to pry open some wood boxes, to lift a door, and when I need another pair of hands around to lift something while I work on it. It's quite strong.
